# Vacation approval customization

Is it possible to turn off vacation approvals in ADP Workforce Now so that once an employees submits a vacation request it is automatically approved and the manager just gets a notification? I say this because vacations are never turned down so approving this is a pointless exercise of control.

The manager constantly gets notifications of every change if it that is the way it is set up if the manager isn't interactive with the app then it's hard to use going forward but any real company will use it accordingly and make sure that your days off are approved or not approved it also lets you claim your PTO and how many hours you want if you have any PTO available best of luck

Vacation approval is very easy to do you can use your account to self-manage your days off in the days that you need to request off it sends a request right to your manager so you don't have to send it an email that isn't even necessary just ask your days off in the app and call it a day thank you
